HEI Mod parts

Post by ElectricEnergy »

Hey guys.

My car is running a bit weird and I've decided to try the HEI mod to try and get it to run more smoothly. Are these the parts I need from MSD (besides the HEI module)? I just want to make sure I'm getting the right stuff before I send them the money for it.

Part # Description Qty. Price
8403 HEI Coil Wire for Blaster 2 1 11.55
8202 Blaster 2 Coil, High-Performance 1 38.30
8213 Coil Bracket, Universal 1 5.61

Regards,
David

For the HEI mod, it's just the HEI module, some spade connectors, a wire tap and that's about it, the external coil is an additional mod to the HEI mod.

doesnt matter what type.. the differences are just the rotor size.

What you should get is the MSD blaster coil kit that you use tomake your own coil wire

It comes with a power tower (whats in the pic above) and you can use the other ends in the package to complete the job.

If you cant find stuff, maybe you must search a bit more!!...

I did help myself for the HEI just by using the forum. You know.. the search function? I did a post some time ago, that helps a bit more for people in Europe...
