Hey everyone, got a question. I want to get rid of my air conditioning system and I do not know what to do about taking off the a/c pump. If i take off the a/c pump do I need to get a smaller belt to go from the crank pulley to the power steering pump or is there a idler pulley to put in place of the a/c. Or should I just leave the a/c pump in there and just take out the lines?
p.s. The reason I'm doing this is to make more room and because the pump fried because the wires got chewed up by one of the belts. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

If you are sure that the compressor is gone - you can get another compressor from ebay or local junkyard

If you want to remove the compressor - just go to your auto store and get a power steering belt and mention no A/C - they will give you a smaller size belt.
