im thinkin of purchasing a mx3..its a n0t bad l00kin car n cheapp...butt...i d0nt really n0 22 much about it...if ne1 c00d let me n0 a bit about tha car...(ex. frequent problems, wat r the best years 2 buy, how many kms b4 it dies..) it w00d b s0 much help...thankkksss
um, try and search lol.. there's an endless amount of info on this forum. but here's what i think about mx3s... if its not a manual v6 dont buy it.. those cars will go on and on, so mileage is not an issue somewhere around 200k is acceptable. this car has a few common problems but they are not major. 92-93 have different interiors than the 94+ but generally speaking they are almost exactly the same so the year doesnt really matter, another thing you should know is the engine swaps, if you put a klze engine in an mx3 you will be running 200hp on this car which makes it crazy fast anyways google the car, check out some of the posts on here and you will have all the info you need about this car

HE HE HE this is a rad post man, how long did it take you to type that out? As for the best MX go for a 94+ 4cyl, that is probably the most forgiving version you can get and there are a few things that you can do to that motor.
If you are abit more adventurous then go for a 6cyl. High mileage is not friendly on these cars from what I have seen, but I would swap the motor anyways. G/L man and learn how to type, unless your keyboard is fuxored.

Welcome to the board. The answers and detail you receive will be in direct proportion to some diligence and effort at first using the search function and reviewing the site a bit. Meanwhile, avoid the auto trans models as known problems exist there.g00die wrote:im thinkin of purchasing a mx3..its a n0t bad l00kin car n cheapp...butt...i d0nt really n0 22 much about it...if ne1 c00d let me n0 a bit about tha car...(ex. frequent problems, wat r the best years 2 buy, how many kms b4 it dies..) it w00d b s0 much help...thankkksss

And on that note, don't ever talk like that again if you want people to take you seriously. Clearly there are a couple people that find you worthy of our widsome, but really now, just type like a normal human? And no, 1e37 h4ck0rz are not as cool as you think. ok?

I hear that you can put a rotory in all models of Mx-3...so just pick a pretty color and drop in a 3 rotor.
ok...jokes aside...look in your area for what is available. Stock 4cyl. are gas savers, but they are slow. Stock V6s are peppy but not dragsters. If your plans are to mod, engine swaps are the way to go. Generally if you buy a RS (4cyl) Mx-3, you swap a BP, BPT or BP-T. If you buy a GS (V6) Mx-3 you can swap a KLZE or KLDE . You can turbo these too, but you really will need to invest some time in upgrades to rods and such. All of these engines are compatible with the Mx-3 chasis, but this is generally the way folks so it.
Soooooo...the question is, what do you want? You can get exactly what you want out of any car, but it is easier to get there with a platform that suits your needs. Do some research here if you are still interested in joining a the truely sarcastic and sometimes retarded...yet knowledgeble...Mx-3 community.
