i have a used apc muffler that i used to have on my mx3. used for only 2 weeks until i put on my powertech muffler.<p>i also have a used spectre intake filter for a month. same cotton gauze material as k&n no cheap paper filter stuff.

I have a hayame muffler I would like to sell. It is throaty sounding. Similar to this one.

Hey valenzul (sorry if I misspelled your name...its late and I cant remember the right spelling) do you know Dan (noclass200)? Are you on PT? I do know Dan and have been to many meets with him so I have heard it in person....the exhaust is LOUD!!!! You can hear it when you are even 3 cars behind him. Its not exactly throaty, but its not high pitched either.....but then again I am basing this from hearing it on a probe..might be different on a MX

just search around you can find some pretty nice mufflers for like 70 new.

i have a brand new dual tip muffler. I don't know what brand it is but the muffler is all chrome and it's seamless. It sounds loud, i have the same one on my 93 1.8L it has 2 1/2" tips.

I'm in the market for a new muffler too, and i'm thinking about a magnaflow. I dont want a loud muffler, anyone have any experience with them?

this one is NOT loud. it is loud if you have a straight thru piping. ANY performance muffler will be loud if you dont have a resonator in the middle. I've had every performance muffler out there from different cars, mostly 4cyl. It is a nice throaty sound. NOT a motorcycle sound like some HONDAS have. I paid $185 for it. I'll take $100 + shipping.... It is not a cheaply made muffler and this one does not have any weld marks.

i have an apex'i dunk up for sale. it might be too big for what you want though. just thought i'd let you know. it has a 3" inlet. mainly used for turbo applications.
