Welcome to the board and congrats on the recent vintage MX-3. They didn't sell the 6 cyl GS model in the states after 1994. Oil consumption might be leaking, most likely from somewhere around one of the valve cover gaskets - the rear VC is tough to get to so a leak there often goes unattended by some owners.

Neutral: Thank you ;), when I look in from the hood , the engine looks realy dry, I also see that the top has reasently been removed (as should be expectet since the dealership reported to have changed the timing belt,
I think its caled that, we call it register reim (register belt) in norway).
And I'm not sure what VC is, Valve cover?

93-Spec-Edn: Thank you to :D
Well, had the car for almost 4 weeks now and I've putt in about 6-7 liters (1.5 US gallons). I drive about 100km (62.14 Miles) each day, so the oilconsumtion shouldent be that much. And I'm changing oil and radiator fluids now, airfilter will have to wait beacouse i'm out of money to spend on the car this month.
The exost is Remus (dont know what model but it looks greate on the car  )

You dont have to remove the heads as far as I know to change the timing belt.
The belt is on the left side of the engine, behind a black plastic cover.

How is the temperature/weather in norway?. Just use a conventional 10w-30 oil like casterol gtx. Makesure u r checking the oil on a level surface. Whas the milage on your engine? I add about a litre every 2000-3000km to give u an idea and as far as i am concerned thats normal. Do u see blue smoke from your exhaust when u start the car in the morning. If not then u may have a leak.

Here's a few threads ya might wanna check out. Possible that you're not seeing a valve cover (aka cam cover) gasket leak then and if you don't have high miles/poor oil maintenance/worn piston rings, might be worn valve guides or seats.

Today I believe it`s about -10C (about 14 F).
And it snows :/

Cant wait until spring, so I can get my coilovers back on the car and my 18s rolling again :D

Hi Norwegian81 and welcome to the board!

Is it Mexos' old car you have there? I know that he had a Remus muffler on his car when he sold it.

6-7 liters in 4 weeks! Yikes, I think that is abnormally much. I use about the same amount as 93-Spec-Edn does.
