There is a downside though.

It's the frame, she is bent. The car doesn't track straight, but I'm not too concerned, I've desided to take all of the upgrades off of this car and put them on mine :D I plan on parting out the rest, hopefully make a little of my money back.

looks very fixable to me, you might be able to even save that 1/4 panel without replacing it.

I had planned on taking the suspension(B&G springs,Tokico blue struts), slotted/drilled brakes, KVR pads, SS lines, wheel hubs, wheels, roll bars, tranny, clutch, guages, fog lights, AFPR, and ported/powdercoated intake manifold off of the car, and put them onto mine, but I might be having second thoughts. IDK, depends on if I can get one of my DEs reassembled and into the car in the next month or so.

Oh, and it was 600 bucks

For what it's worth, the parts you listed alone is easily double the value of what you paid for the car. You could always part the car out as well!!!

That was the original plan, to take what I needed, and then part it out. IDK, I'll probably still do that, I just hate to see such a good looking car go that way!

I'm, no expert but this looks very fixable, the damage i can see is quite minimal and i really doubt such accident would cause unrepairable damage, u got an awesome deal on it, but i'd think twice, hell 10 times before parting out such a nice car.

Well, I don't know about VERY fixable, cause the back end really is outta wack, the car doesn't track straight. We'll see, I might try to revamp in few months. I'm kinda short on money now too, so I was hoping to recover some of my investment

I was tryna put some hope in there, guess it didnt work :( lol. just a thught maybe the wheel got hit too or something, that might cause some problems in any case you should have everything checked and try and see if it's worth fixing. again good luck it's a great deal you got there.

Well now you got me thinking about it! :x This car ran a 14.7@94mph with a KLDE and K8 intake manifold, so I can only imagine what she could do with the KLZE out of my special edition. So many things to consider, I'll have to think about it. :)

that 1/4 panel is shot. there is no way you can save that simply because the panels underneath it will be bent to. im sure you can pull it out but everything else will still be messed up. ive never looked into the costs of a 1/4 panel for an mx-3 but im sure the job would cost a good amount of money. and im sure if you look at the suspension you will see something bent or out of whack. either way, sell me the car and be done with it.

 You can have everything you want after I take the suspension, brakes, wheels, fogs, guages, clutch and tranny out of the car  I'll be making a "for sale" thread soon enough.
