starts. kill it. wont start

Post by XL200 »

pretty much what the title says. if I start my mx3 and kill it..it wont start for about 5 or 10 min...BUT when its warmed up and I kill it, it starts just fine. whats goin on here? I tryed flooring it when I try to start it and it will ALMOST go, but not quite. My car does have an issue with the idle so I think that has something to do with it. thanks for any advice.

well I think mines flooding cause it idles somewhat high on startup(esp. cold days) and if I kill it has trouble starting again(which is the same problem my yamaha has) but its only my theory. I would like to know any other possibilities...
Im not sure of the firing order but if you searched around or had a chiltons shop manual im sure it would tell ya.
