Ok Iv have been doing a search on info about theusing a b6de intake mani on the b6t but all I could find was info on b6de head swaps. I don't want to switch heads, just want to switch intake manifolds. Is this possible or do I have to switch the who head. Also, is it possible to take the intake manifold of the 1.6 SOHC and put it on the B6t or will I be loosing power? I just need some info on what intake manifold is best to use

hmmt there really hasnt been much on this because the bp swap has become more common. I think poping a hole in the hood was the sucky part.

go to your local auto shop and ask for an intake manifold gasket for an 88 mazda 323 turbo and a 95 mazda mx3. match them up. if the match it should work. You obviously have enough room in your engine bay for it.

Your going to need a new gasket if you are going to change the manifolds anyways right ;P

If the ports, bolt holes, & water jackets line up the one mod still needed is to weld injector bungs onto the DOHC MX-3 intake manifold. I'd recommend using the MX-3 DOHC cyl head and intake manifold as it is supposed to have larger ports and possibly larger valves. The B6T's hold the injectors in the intake manifold and the DOHC MX-3 B6's hold them in the head.
