K Series (V6) Turbo Kit Group Buy! Now taking orders.

These kits will fit the Stock Mazda MX-3 1.8 L V6 and 2.5 V6 swapped (ZE or DE). The details have been resolved and pricing determined.

-All Flanges are 1/2" Thick to prevent warping
-All the pipes a constructed of T304 Stainless Steel (aircraft quality)
-Machined TIG welds.

As stated in earlier posts. There will be 3 options from which you can choose:


1) pipes only:

This includes:

-Collectors 1.75"
-Up Pipe 2-2.75"
-Down pipe 2.5" (optional 3")
-Intercooler Piping (Pre -2.25" Post 2.5")
-Greddy type S BOV flange
-Bar and plate Intercooler 24x6x2.5


2) Complete Kit (2.5L)

This includes:

-All in 1 plus
-Garrett T3/T4OE Turbo
Specs:
Compressor:
T04e inlet/outlet 3" / 2"
Wheel diameter - 56mm
wheel inducer - 2.230"
wheel exducer - 2.950"
wheel trim - 57
Turbine:
T3 turbine
Bearing system 360 race journal bearing
A/R ratio .63
Wheel Inducer 2.559"
Wheel Exducer 2.229"
-38mm waste gate (set at 6 psi)
-Greddy Type S BOV
-2 x 10” or 12” Slim Line Fans
-Stainless Steel Oil Feed and Drain Lines (12 an drain hose and 3an feed and flanges)
-All proper Gaskets and Hardware/Fittings and vacuum lines


3) Complete Kit (1.8L)

This includes:

- All the above but different size turbo.
(Garrett T3/T40E 57 Trim
.48A/R exhaust


Modifications Required

1. X-member (the one with the engine mounts on) will have to be cut and re-welded in order to have to down pipe and up-pipe to go trough there

2. Cross member doesn't fit unless you mod it. I am not running with one for months and I have no problem what so ever.

3. Stock fan don't fit in stock location, you'll have to use the 2 slim fans included with the kit and mount them as pushers on the other side of the rad.

4. Oil pan will have to be tapped with a fitting (as high as possible) for the turbo oil drain.

5. Relocate the battery in the trunk

6. There might be slight adjustment to be made for the intercooler piping (just a little part) where the TB connects with the piping since the k8 manifold is not the same size as the klze manifold. (those with a klde or straight neck manifold will have to work with it). So we'll make the piping longer for the k8 manifold and hopefully for those with a klze manifold you'll just have to cut the piping for the right length for the klze manifold.

7. The overflow coolant tank will have to be relocated elsewhere. Babybluemx3 has relocated his in the bottom of the passenger wheel well. This thing acts on pressure so it doesn't matter where you put it. You'll just need a longer hose.

8. You will require the use of hood pins; removing of the latch is necessary.

9. The Factory bumper may need some minor material removal that will in no way compromise the look of the vehicle whatsoever.

With the hurdle of getting the IC to Steve out of the way, the process of completing the kit is near.

At this point, I would ask those BB members that are ready and willing to finish paying off their kit to do so at this point.

Since nothing was going to be done until i paid the balance, I took care of that this afternoon eventhough they had enough to cover there costs.

I hope this spells the end of the BB.

I did not call the officer.

I am waiting until January 3 to call the officer back as I spoke with Michael at Urban Imports and explained to him VERY CLEARLY what was going to happen.

He seems pretty dissapointed and concerned about this entire situation and promises to get back to me later on today.

In any case he is aware of his envolvement on the BB as he knowingly received the final deposit for the kits.

I am sure he does not want his business Urban Imports to go down with Abe and will do his best to help this sticky situation.

Lets hold on for a few more; patience is a virtue at these stages and I do not want to jump the gun.

In any case, I do not wish Abe or Michael any harm, I only wish this to be resolved.
