Portugal in "da" house !

Post by OutlaW »

Hi gang, the "da" word in the title was me joking around a little bit.
Im Pedro, im from Portugal, and glad to be a member of this forum.

Gonna talk with the crowd of Mx3 owners that i know ( all 2 of them ) so expect another register from Portugal at least... if both of them are too lazy to register ... we will only miss who's allready here ...

The car salesman hasn't delivered the car to me , he says that the documents have a 2 week realease date, so in 2 weeks this is gonna take me to work and home :)

Image
Here in POrtugal, the pay isn't all that great, so i can only put one aftermarket part at a time ...
Next month , Intrax ou Eibach springs ...
Image
Then comes the best part, another month and i am going to put some new fabric in the interior, to match my son's new Recaro Seat.
Image
Then it's time to order some lexus tail lights for this car (carbon one's), a nice 2 round shape exhaust, and to place our team name on the back.
Image
Since this car is going to be upgraded slowly, i will use it to decompress from work, so in the days between payday's, this i can do for my own:
Paint the brake calipers red, paint the front headlight black on the inside, put a cristal side repeater, ask a friend of mine to paint the 17" wheel's with antracite color ... and then it's all done ... or so they say
Image

Judge it please

welcome to the forum i'm from england...

the mx3 is a great car and i've not used mine for a while due to a company car... but i love it.

as for the exhaust on a previous thread... i have just a twin backbox at the minute and it sounds really deep and aggressive. though i'm due to change it
the car your looking at looks really clean and nice

I am starting to loose my mind expecting the car :freak:

I have to wait another week so i can go get it from the auto selling stand.
BADMX3 , since you are from England, maybe you could show me a few websites that have performance parts for this car.

I want to put this in it for now:
Springs ( a must have )
Black Altezza tailights
Cristal side repeaters
Brake discs ( i have seen a pair in this site, that was AWESOME... they looked like a flower
A great deep sounding exaust
OBX header's (if there are any, because the OBX-r website is down, and i cant see)

i cantttttttttttttttt wait :P

I must have a curse on me and dont know it yet ...
That car in the pictures, is beeing paited and all fixed up, in order for the seller to raise the price.
He is beeing an a--hole, because he promissed that he would seel the car to me, but he might have looked on the web and found out that the car is beeing sold in this country for a bit more money that he was asking me .

So he decided to do a full paintjob to the car, and afterwards raise the value of the sell.
Dont get me wrong, the car in the end of the paint job, is going to look perfect, and worth a lot more than now... but the value of the sail was put , and now he wants to raise it.

It smells to me , that this was a marketing trick... he put a low price to be a magnet for buyers, since im on it, he then paints the car new, does a few more details and raises the price.

Guess waht, wrong fish in the hook.
Because this fish , has just a few months started to raise a family, got myself a beautifull son ... and right now expenses with a car are a NO, NO , NO .

I am now looking for a few other car's, i have found a nice Ford Puma 1.7
and another Mx3 V6 1.8 , but this one is a 1993 one... it has no new paintjob neither 17" alloys, but it does have some nice 16" alloys like you can see here.
I reallly like the interior on the 97 MX3, is there any way to change the dashboards between MX3 generations ?
