People are often forced to part cars out because they need somewhat of a decent return on the car. It is often very hard to sell a modifed car for a good amount of money because people's tastes are particular. I myself had to part out my mx-3 and it was a very hard thing to but in the end I had to do it otherwise I would have never gotten as much money out of it as I did.

I believe Krish just mistaken the Jetta with the Passat. The Passat has the 4Motion AWD, which is the exact same Quattro AWD system.

The A4 used the B5 platform from 1995-2001 while the Passat used it from 1996-2005 (1998 in North America). However, the 2.8L v6 in the Audi and the Passat seem to be different.
