simple yes or no BP question
simple yes or no BP question
I think I wanna go BP. I found a newer model protege. Will it work if i use a 90-94 wiring harness?

It might work - but you have to do a lot of splicing - i am going through this new gen BP swap and it is a lot different from the previous BP and its somewhat different from B6DE too.Boris wrote:I think I wanna go BP. I found a newer model protege. Will it work if i use a 90-94 wiring harness?

ah i see. Well I guess I will continue hunting for a 90-94 BP. I wanna make this swap as painless and quick as possible, since this is my daily driver. And I also hate wiring and splicing lol.

hey boris msn me the next time your on my buddy i believe has a bp that he wants to sell out of his escort...... hit me up and ill talk to him for you... he was thinkin of selling it really cheap.
95 rs with custom short ram air, b&m short throw shifter, probe 2.0L header with 2 1/4" exhaust all the way back, catco high flow cat, apc high flow muffler with 4.5" tip, accel 8 mm wires, blaze red, cf altezzas, gun metal 17" mr7s, slotted cross drilled rotors on the way with hawk hps pads, red and white interior, other then that its stock.
truue that would be sick.. My internet has been down all week (im on the gf's computer). I just bought a turbo too last night so a cheap bp would be great....i'll try and get on msn soon as my internet is fixed , thanks for the heads up dude.

The protege ecu has the proper fuel maps for the BP - and sohc ecu will not activate vics.
