Obviously it sucks but I gota run Street Modified...I'll be going up against some TOUGH competition....hopefully i'll get some comp tires soon....

Agh!, you have to be a member to see the event. Cut and paste it here. If it is anything like SCCA you are in for a run. Chris in MOCA runs street mod and has a good time keeping up. He is new to it though and we expect some vast improvement after he gets a better handle on the course types and his cars handeling at low speeds. All that ZE torque is killing him

I'm alittle new, this will be my 6th event, I took the rx7 to the others, so this will be my first time at the track with a FWD, i guess we'll find out how hard it is to adjust....but I do consider myself an extremely good driver...took a few firsts with the rx....

All that ZE torque is killing him

Did he try disconnecting the passenger side VRIS? That would give until 4500 RPM until the big torque kicks in.

3rd in my class

My valve caps are stuck on...all tires have about 30psi if not lower...yes the sidewalls are cracked lol

States is August 6th, spending $1250 on rims and tires v710's

I lost by less than 2 seconds, both the integra and the neon both have full autox suspensions with turbo as well as comp tires....I believe with comp tires I easily would of had 1st as well as the fastest time of the day...

What rims are you going for? I'd suggest 15s for racing since you won't loose any torque and they are generally alot lighter, also cheaper on tires too.

Thats pretty good. You just squeezed past that Evo 8. Those cars are incredibly fast in the right hands.

I used to think drag was fun till I got into autox, nothing compares to wippin the car round corners at high speeds. You learn so much about your car. By the wat nice vids not bad at all really
