hey guys, im not a huge artist but i want to re-paint my car.
the trick is i want a red/yellow/black-deatil color scheam since thats my army units insignia colors.
i have always been partial to classic color techniques, like old muscle car stripes on new mustangs and GTO's so i was reaserching and japan never had anything distinct except for modern tuner cars.
so i basically want somthing not to complicated (no pictures or anything) but very much japenese heartage.
i know alot of you guys have free time and photoshop skills
PS the car is already red, so that should be the color most of the car is... so i dont have to repaint all the doorjams and engine compartment
give me some paint ideas

well in my personal opinion the mx-3 should only be one colour.. it's design is too good to be messed with... proportions get messed around and lines get wrecked..

haha my grandfather would kill me! or at least shoot the hell out of my car!!!
not a fan of chamelion.
and i agree getting to fancy on colors really screws with the lines of the car, but i like stripes on fast cars, and i dont want to be putting classic american muscle stripes on my mazda (no mustang double down the center, or mopar style wraparounds, or chevy door stripes) i a was thinking somthing a little more swoopy where the stripe dosent follow a set line, or a set diameter, but somthing that will add to the car. ill go to a paintshop friday and scan what they come up with
