Re: Taking off my ft. Bumper??help please...
This is a little tricky to do. First locate and remove the two phillups screws in each wheel well, (Where the fender and front cover meet) my be hiding behind your splash gaurds. Then there are 3 14 mm bolts (3 on each side of the car, you will see a huge rectangle bar called a hat rail, that these bolts are located, underneighth the car towards the front , These hold on your bumper reinforcement. remove these. Then the two that are up next to the grill that bolt to the radiator core, these are 10mm. The cover will not come off the reinforcment bar while still on the car because there are some braces that mount behind the cover underneighth were the headlights are. So you have to take off the entire assembly. Then when you get the bumper assembly off, there are two philups , 1 behind each turnsignal housing that also bolts the cover to the reinforcement bar.
I didnt explain very simply and if you have problems dont hesitate to ask, Ill do my best to help you if you need, Chris
Good Luck

[This message has been edited by SmaMitches (edited July 21, 2001).]
