Well, I've been internet-dead for some weeks now, but here's an update on the problem.... the fuel pump was replaced two weeks ago, late thursday night on the way back from work the engine just conked out right in the left lane of the 427.... a quick tow to my mechanic and a new fuel pump later... guess what, still dead. My mechanic is waiting for his electrical specialist dude to come back Monday to take a look at it..... but just when I thought my problems were over... well looks like the worst of it is still to come... I would hate to speculate on the worst case scenario, as all the expensive things have been swapped out and have warranty on them (i.e. new rebuilt disty, fuel pump). But, we'll see how things go, I'll keep you folks posted.

You didn't tell me it was on the highway the other day!! Sounds like a typical module failure....dumb remans. Anyways, you didn't miss much on Saturday cause the organizers pulled a no show. But I did blow the heck out of my third gear, or should I say my no third gear ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Update: It was one of the main wires that gives power to the fuel pump, distributor and maybe one or two other things from what my mechanic described to me. So that was fixed..... BUT thats not the end, oh no, it can never be that easy (and so f---in expensive $350for disty, $200 for fuel pump, another $250 to find that one f---in rotten wire).... only a few days ago when I talked to Steve we both figured out we had s--- batteries, I replaced mine, put in a brand spankin new Interstate battery, thinking that would alleviate my problem of the flickering battery light..... NAHHHHHH, still flickers, but then I remembered the mechanic at my dealership telling me my belt may be on the way out when the alternator was replaced last September.... so I figure thats the next step, cause the light only comes on when I go off bumps or through tight curves, its either too loose or too cracked and worn to get grip.... Oh well, we'll see :/
