Yes, easier starts during warm/hot engine conditions, I've already said that. If it ain't broke......don't fix it!!! How simple can we make it?? Leave well enough alone I always say.

What I meant by "run better" was that with it have a better feel to it before reaching full throttle. Guess I didn't give a particularly specific answer.

No. You won't feel a damned thing. It does NOTHING different once the car has started.

Online shop manual has specific tests to verify the operation of the FPR Solenoid. Simply removing parts based on the premise that it might improve performance should be thoroughly researched first. I don't think Mazda would waste R&D time and money for an item that has no sound value. Although that statement can be somewhat disqualified when it comes to emissions parts and equipment but only to the point of owner locale and local laws the regulations permit. Aside from EGR equipment, there really isn't much one should consider just simply discarding, perhaps improving upon, upgrading or replacing, but not just discarding.
