Short Ram issues

has anyone here purchased the weapon-r secret weapon short ram for a 1.6 MX-3?

i cant get any difinative answers if it has all the places for the idle hoses. also what does it do with the MAF?

it may have them it may not u;ll have to use ur maf or ur car won't start with out it. check out the ones on ebay srech for mazda mx-3

i can deal with welding on a hose connection, but im not so sure how i owuld put the MAF sensor on there

here how i did mine just a general idea which 1.6 u have sohc or dohc.

i have DOHC, my MAF connecter is much more compact than that

as for attaching you just have to find some rubber boots and a couple hose clamps no welding required

other option just attach a cone filter to the stock maf sensor

yeah ive seen all that im just wondering if anyone has bought a weapon-r intake, i want to know if it had all the hose connections and if it has a spot for the MAF sensor (the compact DOHC one)

Its a bit of a pricey intake system that does the samething u can buy at a autozone and yes can make it fit with the sohc or dohc mx-3. maf vaf don't matter u can fit that weapon r on both as far as vac. line as long as u have 1 it will work its a vac, line from ur trottle body.

i just want a nice aluminum intake, and i really like the weapon-r filters.
