MX-3 chat room night!

Post by 2.5mazda »

I thought since there is a chatroom, we could start a chatroom night once a week where whoever wants to can come join at oh say 9:00 CST and talk about mx-3 related or whatever topics. I figuresd this might be a good way to utilize the feature, and to provide faster info to those who may want to just ask a simple question and get an imediate answer.
anyone up for somthing like this? 8) I know there has been more than once where I had a question to ask while wrenching on my car some weekend, and had to sit at the computer for 3 hours waiting for a reply or 2. That and it would just be fun to get people together.

I was actually thinking about this the other day how once a week would make for a good MX-3.com Chat Room night.

I'm in there now but there’s no Admin bot or anything. Since the channel is always unused has it gone outta commission?

Also, for those that dont know, this forum has a chat feature up by your personal messages menu. I have had a few people ask me where it was, so I figured I would tell everyone.

Of course you know that chat rooms are the biggest chewer of bandwidth? Overwhelmingly so!

The representatives of this site always complain of a waste of bandwidth, I don't get it

if need be i can throw up a chat room on one of my servers, i have no bandwidth limits and it will be sufficiantly fast enough.

That`s actually not correct.
The "chat room" on here, is on penguin.uk.eu.blitzed.org, a big IRC server.
Also, it`s just text that gets transfered, so almost no bandwith is used.
