Anyway, are those 12As that you have easy to rebuild?
I wonder what would be easier to rebuild, a regular V shaped engine or Rotary engine?
I paid 1000 for a 81 and 2 spare 12a's
Paid 3000 for a rebuild race spec turbo'd 12a with fuel injection

There are no piston rings in a rotary... What fails are the apex seals between each section..

Rotary's are built like a loaf of bread...

Wow, that sounds cheap as hell
Forged rotors?

it was 2 months late...he threw in the fuel injection.

I don't know what type of rotars but they are ceramic coated so they'll last.

What I'd do

Post by shanetb »

I'd get rid of the nutless 1.6L for sure. Seriously my motorcycle has more horsepower, it's rediculous. I'd drop in a 1.8 or a 2.5. Then I'd probably get a turbo and intake. Dual exhaust since I have a V6 now. Paint it, I hate teal, so I'd repaint it maroon/red or maybe purple. Chrome and low pros. Lower springs. Medium sized spoiler. Remove rear seat and get a custom fiberglass sub enclosure. Thats all i can think of. Seriously if I had any money I'd say screw it with the MX-3 and pimp out my T-Bird

T bird...pfsss ha..

ok anyway. I'm not gonna say what i'd do with unlimeted money, because then it woudl go on forever and ever and i woudl porbably install some kind of rocket engine and redue the frame in titanium and it make it turn into a plane on command and maybe even some kind of crazy robot and my car would be about 6 billion hp and run a quater mile in 2.14 x 10 to the -30 seconds.....

hahah realisticly now, with money i will acculy have one day, my setup will and is starting to look liek this..

Suspension: Tokico + Eibach, strut tower bars, anti roll bar
Engine: KLZE, Nitrouse, ACT clutch, lsd quaife, cleaned and shine all parts, paint a few, millenia mani, reprogrammed ecu, intake...
Interior: Momo wheel with mazda speed button hehe...ms seats, recovered door panels (red/black vynel), suede head linder, alpine touch screen, 2 pheonix gold xenon 10's with 2 xenon 600.1 amps in custom setup
Exterior: Shaved everything by yours truly, Black tails, candy red, ms front, konig unknown 17" rims, dunno what rubber...nitto? civic projectors..

Simple, but clean and effective...and fast...real fast.

i'm sure it wouldn't cost that much to make an MX into a plane...
People spend more money on f-1 cars... so it's doable...
