UM.. SURGING IDLE FIXED....

Um ok so i have had surging idle forever... and um i wasnt even trying to fix it. Iw as more concerned with fuel and theres this connector underneath the diag box on the chasis the connectors are grounds and were loose. they are a bit rusted..wiggled them back in and surgin idle - gone..... DOH.. now on to my fuel consumtion problem..

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!

Wiggleing them back in is a temp fix you know. You need to cut the wire and reconnect them with a good clamp. Silver soldier the wires into the clamp (one clamp per wire that is the right size for wach wire) then bolt them all down to the same spot, clean the rust off before you reintall the wires.

This very well could cause a fire. A poorly grounded circuit can cause a hell of alot of heat. It can melt the copper wires, and even soften the steel if it is touching and trying to ground through some spot that the wire is exposed to.

You don't need another one of those :wink:

Im sure hec doesnt want anymore engine fire... lol!
