I was wondering if any other mazda parts or parts off any other brnad of car will fit a 92 mx 3 gs 1.8L v6?????? They are hard to get parts for ??

if it isnt internals u want than a probe gt, mx-6, 626 all the stuff on the outside of engine will fit on the 1.8. also they MUST be a v6 2.5lire to work

So would a distributor from a 93 mx6 v6 auto work on a mx3 v6 1.8 manual?

yes if its the kl v6. Also from the later year Ford probe GT's 93 and up. Disty will also fit. (its what i use)

I'm sure it's in an FAQ here somewhere, but suspension and brakes have ALOT of parts identical to 90-94 Mazda Protege's. In the engine bay of the V6, there's ALOT of stuff identical to a 93-2002 V6 Mazda MX6/626

Duane, in the future when you're posing questions, it would be advantageous if the title of your thread was a little more representative of the subject your covering. In this way if there happens to be some viable reasource/reference material contained within, it would be much better accessable/retrievable in the future when people do searches. Something to the effect of "Shared Common Parts to MX3". If you like to, why not edit your original post title to make it a viable future resource. Thanks!!

So in these cases will the brake rotor and caliper and brake pads off of a 90-94 protege fit my mx3 gs 1.8l ?
