fairview mall is actually in toronto, but depends which end has the most ppl, if its all niagara ppl then a meet in oakville would b fine (deb, you can meet up w/ me earlier and we can meet up w/ them)

Hey i was reading the fourms and yea im in for the car show for sure. And i can speak for prospect customs as well.
So you can add Shawno, and Prospect to your list for ppl in.

i was gonna go, but i have to catch a plane in montreal on the 18th. going to california.

besides, i already went to detroit, so i got to see plenty of the cars that'll be in toronto including the kabura. have fun guys (and girls)!!

I think it starts at 10am? Maybe be parked by 11am?

I would like to suggest that when we are at a meeting place and waiting for others to show up ... and some of them don't show up at the time deadline ... give them only 15 mins more ... then leave. It really isn't fair for those who are on time to wait and wait..............

AH!! bad news.....i just got a response from Mazda Canada.....and the only concept they'll have at the auto show is the Senku.

i'll be there on the first saturday of the show, plan on goin early and then getting the free parking LOL

my route will be 427 - qew to yonge to queens quay...

I was talking to Deb last week, and she suggested we meet at the ACC parking lot for 11am max.
i think seeing as we're from all diff directions and backtracking will waste time, this may be for the best. then from there we can find a proper parking all together and head in.

OK ... Shawno and Prospect are coming with me up to Toronto ..... anyone else from the East going ........ John are you going ... I'll be meeting the other ones at Tims

I thought all of us could meet at the Air Canada Centre's parking lot around 10:30am possibly sooner ....... just so we can get a good parking spot ... this time we'll have to try to park altogether

I think there is going to be some free parking?

I'll post directions later today ........ who else is going besides Ian, Krish, Prospect, Shawno and myself???

To get to the Air Canada Centre to meet before going to park our cars:

FROM THE EAST

Take Hwy 401 West to Don Valley Parkway South/Downtown (exit 375)
Take the Don Valley Parkway to the end
Don Valley Parkway becomes the Gardiner Expressway West (merge right)
Exit the Gardiner Expressway West at Yonge Street/Hwy 11 (Exit towards Hwy 11A/Bay St/York St/Toronto Island/Harbourfront
Keep left at fork in ramp
Stay straight to go onto Lakeshore Blvd East
Turn right onto Bay St.

FROM THE WEST (London)

Hwy 401 East to Renforth Dr/Hwy 427/Airport Exit
Take Hwy 427 South, exit towards the QEW
Take the Gardiner Expressway East (exit on the left)
Exit the Gardiner East at Hwy 11A/York St/Bay St exit towards Hwy 11 / Yonge St.
Go North on York St.
The Centre is at the 3rd set of lights to your right.

FROM THE WEST (Hamilton)

Take the QEW East towards Toronto
The QEW becomes the Gardiner Expressway East
Exit the Gardiner East at Hwy 11A/York St/Bay St exit towards Hwy 11/Yonge St.
Go North on York St.
The Centre is at the 3rd set of lights to your right.

Well ......... Joe and I will be there ... the weather in Toronto is going to be (they say now) sunny with a few flurries

Hey Shawn

I would like to get to the air canada centre by 10:30 ... we are meeting up with Ian (Deimos) so we could leave at 8

John hasn't said a word ... so Joe and I will be at tims probably by 7:30 or 7:45 .. we'll grab something to drink and eat and get going ... under the Contact List is my cell # if there are problems that morning and do you have a cell?

There is free parking but it could be filled up by the time we get there ... so expect another possible $20 for parking ... I don't know for sure though
