I hate the color of my headliner so much that I finally decided to do something about it ...I purchased 2 yards of Black Polyster/ Felt and 2 cans of 3M trim adhesive, removed the old stock headliner and carefully pulled off the old fabric , sprayed the adhesive on and started laying down the new black fabric smoothing it out carefully starting on one side and working it slowly to the other side with my hand ....I spent about $20.00 and Hour and 30 minutes on this project .....here are some pics of stock headliner , progress and final product
thanks, I installed it back in my car this evening and it looks great...it makes it darker inside and for some reason gives the illusion of more headroom
I just took these a few minutes ago ...the camera flash is making the color look grey but it is actually black I will try to take some pics tommorrow in daylight I don't think I am going to reinstall my sun visors or dome light ....It looks alot neater without either
how does the headliner attach to car? glue or is it just stiff and hold up by the pillars?

pobably could but the stock fabric is paper thin ...just find some colored fabric of you choice and do like me .....only cost me about $20.00 dollars for the materials
Can you throw up a picture of the pillars? I'm curious how they look painted. Is it aqward having a big black line blocking your view instead of a big grey line?
