Does the ZE and DE have the same bottom end?

As in same strenth and everything? Except for thje higher compression pistons of course.

just the pistons are different

Yup either will bend rods about ~ 350 whp.

So technically, you can stick ZE pistons into a DE motor and turn it into a ZE ?

you can turn a de block into a ze with just pistons, yes...... but there is alot more to a ze then 10:1 pistons

heads, cams, IM, ecu,... etc
