Well i dont know about that...you might have to do some beefing up to run that much boost !!!

well all you have to do to beef it up a little is, rebuild it with some stock B6T pistons, 7.8:1 compression. then put in either some B6T rods, BPT rods or the grand daddys the GTR rods. then what would be sweet is if you swaped out the head for the 8 Valve rather than the 16 SOHC. i heard that the head flowed alot better in the 8 valve than the 16. then i would replace the valves with at the least some sodium filled valves. with just the pistons and rods coupled with the Valves weither you 8 or 16. you could definatly run 15 pounds of boost. definatly a fair amount more if you ran the GTR rods, 20psi maybe and it would be good for more. i have heard the GTR rods are good up to 30 PSI and still holding up. for around 500 bucks they are a damb good price.

a friend of mine has a 95 SHOC D16 Vtech civic running forged pistons at 9:1 comp and stock everything else with some head work on a Greddy turbo system a T3 @ 12psi making 220 WHP and 251 Foot pounds of torque. thats just an SOHC its pretty damb fast.

how much boost do you think it would handle without changing any internals?

stock valves, 9:1 pistions stock rods, stock cam, stock everything!

ofcourse stuff like injectors and regulators could be changed

well it depends on the shape of the motor (milege and how its been taken care of). but most seem to run 13 psi fairly reliably. 10 psi is more realistic for a higher milege, and thats off of a VJ14 or VJ20. i know some have pushed the little stock motors to their braking limit at like 20 + psi.

yea the motor has 230,000 km on it, and i just rebuild the head. The lower end is all still origional, so im thinking like 7-8 psi?

what kind of power increase would this give me?
