so i finally got back to working on my mx3 model... ended up starting all over. modelled it in Maya using nurbs then converted to polys. i'm not the best modeller, but we had to make a car for class and i could think of nothing better than to do my own car. anybody on here still into this stuff? i know about a year ago some people posted and had awesome stuff! anywayz.. check out mi carro :wink: cheers

^ u can really see in the last pic that i am just not a modeller. LOL... looks like i was in an accident. personally i think animation is way more fun. :lol:

he also made an mx model, wich was lasered into a glass cube, maybe he can put the model up here again.

actually, I dont think where is car editing for most wanted, but he could start by making it for Hot Pursuit 2...than i'm sure eventually they're be editors that will allow us to convert it to MW when editing becomes available

yea AYS and Daniel's both look 100X better than mine :lol: LOL.. but it's a fun hobby if anyone wants to get into it! i just figured why model a ferrari when EVERYONE does a supercar.. and also this thing could be used for special fx in a movie or something. ie get into the real car, then make it fly or something. LOL

I actually really like yours...i mean yeah, Daniels is amazing, but yours is very good as well.

I think that it would varie from person to person, depending on how skilled or how much detail people put into a model.

On some game message boards for games like DPB or CS. Some guys can pump out a decent model in an hour. But i bet for the avredge joe it would probaly take a day or two.

thanks guys! and yea i'd love to import this into a game!! if anybodies got conversion instructions please post! i dont have any computer racing games but i'd soooo get one just to make my own cars for it :lol:

o yea and this model took me about 2 weeks to make (first time modeling a car this way).. but now that i know the secret, it could really be done in less than a day.
