is it not going into an mx3? if it is, one of those motors will fit into one version or the other. RS=BPT GS=KL motor. you wont need to change the mounts unless you were wanting to put a bpt into a GS or ZE into a RS.

since you have an RS you should get a BPT then, it uses the same mounts and everything, ive never personally done a bpt swap, but if its as easy as a ze swap, you'll be done in no time.

swaping all the stuff over to put a klze in would be a bit of a hassle, unless you found a really cheap gs parts car, then you could swap everything over. as for the mounts fill em in with window weld, made mine quite a bit stiffer.

Trevo you could make real short work of any queries you may have by stating all of the necessary info up front rather than have people like Fry guess. Hey better still, why not update your profile to include in the signature block all of the specifics of your ride. In that way you won't always have to repeat yourself and you'll get your answers quicker. Just a thought.

Go BP turbo if you have a 4cyl. You keep all the engine mounts, except for the mount above the Tranny if you use the G-Series/Protege LX tranny. Then you just use half of your MX-3 mount and half of the Protege mount.

Opps, I take my KL-ZE vote back and give it to the BPT. I didn't read that you had a 4-banger till after I voted. The ZE has a bigger displacement and IMO is easier to get disgustingly high amounts of power out of it. However if I were in your shoes, I'd keep it a 4 cyl and work with the BPT which is still a sweet-a-- engine.
