does anyone if this muffler would fit into the mx3. the size is It's about 18" long, 6" wide, and the inlet/outlets seem to be 2.25".

yep just go to an exhaust shop and tell them u want this muffler on this car and they will maybe trim ur piping and put a coupler on the pipin to fit ur muffler and all that stuff they might charge around 90 bux or u can do what i did spend 25 for the materials needed and trim the pipe urself and put a coupler on slide the muffler in the coupler and bolt it to tighten it on and find a way to hang it.

90 bucks? I think that's a bit much. *i think* I guess it depends on the area though.

But ya you're right. it should be easy. You can mount it easily with just a muffler strap too :)

well i got diff quotes and it was like 75 and up. its alot just cuz of the labour and materials like welding coupler bolts straps and all but mainly labor.

What was wrong with getting a muffler designed for the car?
Oem piping isn't 2.25"

there is a muffler designed for our car? but anyway it only takes a 5 dollar piece to adapt r pipin size to fit that 2.25'' muffler inlet
