Is there any way to drain a MTX v6 tranny other than the drain bolt?

If thats the case your best bet would be to suck it out of the filler hole with a syphon pump or something. Anyway good luck with that.

A syphon (or the like) will not work since you need to get the hose to the bottom of the tranny ot get all the fluid out. That is impossible since there are GEARS and such in the way of getting to the bottom of the tranny.
You should have found another way to seal the crack... I don't think you can drain the fluid ever now...

Drill a hole??? Yeah I guess that should work... then put some kind of valve in it or stick a cork.
