Max Speed Per Gear Info?
Since my Mx-3 is in storage for the winter
I can't test it outmyself, but is there any documentation or does anyone who what is the max speed in each gear (redline) for an MTX GS?

No way, I've hit 210km/h before and there was still a ways to go, 220km/h (138mph) should be possible, I think max speed in the MX-3 MTX is 240km/h as marked on the speedo, there are plenty of threads listing that like information, but i'm looking at the speeds of gears 1-5, first and second specificallyXxantwawnxX wrote:never tested each gear..but know with the KLZE in 5th gear i cant go faster than 137-138 mph. 1st is about 30mph. I know that second gear redlines at 60 mph b/c I use it all the time. I use the end of second gear to know when to stop accelerating as to not get a ticket. Third I think is about 85mph and 4th is about 110. Also, fifth gear redlines at about 135 I think. The fuel cut isn't untill 7500 so you can push the car past redline (7000). Be careful not to do that though, the car cannot safely handle over 7,000 RPM.

Top speed will all depend on the tranny you are running along with what size tires you are running.
Stock MX-3 Tranny (4.38 Final) with 205-50/15 will top out at ~139 MPH
Ive tried this many times...haha.
Stock MX-6 Tranny (4.11 Final) with 205-50/15 will top out at ~149 MPH
I don't have my computer program in front of me or else i could tell you
the exact MPH
But you can always mix it up and change your gearing like that. I have always changed my tire size to mess with my gearing...its easy and alot cheaper than changing a tranny.
