The MX3 is a fun car to drive with a great suspensionFranko wrote:BASTARDS! Why coulden't it be a civic? Or why couldent someone be getting away in a mx-3 from people.. I want a mx3 to have 5 minutes of glory in a well known movie.
Did anyone else see cellular? Theres a scene where the main character is driving a little crappy car and causes a huge accident on the highway.. I remember seeing a mx-3 in there spinning out possibly getting in an accident or just coming close.
Anyone notice the turn signals on the fenders? Its gotta be right hand drive.
Its so pretty though.. what shape its in... What a waste, I hate that...

OUCH!!! I can see the black MX'rs just cringing after seeing that. I'm kinda proud that the maker of a new movie decided on using an MX in a special scene. Out of all of the cars to choose from in Japan they chose an MX, an older, out of production car than garnered little to no popularity internationally. It's usually nicer, newer and more pricier cars that seem to suffer the collateral damage in movies like this. So hey, nice to see that the MX was worth being used, even if it was for a crash scene.

So many cars and they must pick an MX... AND I KNOW WHY.. because it it the only one from the all range of older cars that looks exciting, good, and they wanted to make the movie to look like crashing brand new cars.. so the only choice was MX.. stylish and brand new looking car..
THE 5min of fame is the Fast and Furious (1 or 2 i do not know) for MX.. where this car have a lil role..

New Police Story isn't that new....it's from at least, a year ago.
in fact, I personally worked on the production of the dvd release of Jackie Chan's new movie "The Myth". (i translated the commentary and some of the interviews on the 3 disc set) it's quite hilarious seeing your own work on a TV screen. especially when it's sent off to people around the world.
anyway, i'm getting a free copy of "The Myth" and my stuff is sitting in his office in Kowloon, waiting for him to sign it and get it sent off to me.
