Sadly No more MX-3, My new Ride

Post by Andrew_Pakula »

As many of you know I have been parting out my mx-3 for most of the year, it was a sad thing to do but necessary, well the car was finally towed away last weekend so I officially no longer have an MX-3.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who I have met from here and has helped me over the past 6 years, many, many memories. There are too many people to thank and many are no longer even here any more but a thank you goes out to you all. People come and go on this board, I seem to be one of the old timers that has been on here forever, in fact I've been here so long that I was here long before this message board even existed.... I find it sad that I no longer have my MX-3 because it was my first car and I went so many places with it and have so many memories with it, it was hard to finally let go of it. Over the years I often saw people leave this community but I never knew when it would be my time to do the same.

This is not really a good-bye thread, I will still be around on here, I may even buy an MX-3 in the future as a winter car. In the mean time though as one of the original founding members of the Toronto MX-3 Club I hope that it continues on for many years as it has been, people come and go but the cars always still around.

As for my new ride, after about 6 months of looking I just recently bought a 2003 Lexus IS300. It is a fully loaded Premium package with black leather interior. Here are some pictures below:

would have been nice to get that scion sitting behind the car in the 4th picture. Richmond hill toyota has a nice scion on the ramps there. I'd love to get my hands on one of those.

Nice Andrew. I'll have to look for you as you drive by in your different car now. You know I work at 30th and Horner, right on the train tracks. I'm driving a Camry now. Can't beat Toyota. lol

Did you sell your car too? I still have mine. I was thinking of selling it, but now I'm just waiting for the wedding and kid expenses to pass before I put it on the road again. Right now she's up on blocks in my garage.

Anyhow, good luck with the new ride

one

P.S. how come I'm not on the map? Ebucks, Islington & Dixon. West Siiide!

Yea I remember where you work, wasn't sure if you still worked there because I hadn't seen your MX-3 in a long time. I still live in the same area Long Branch/Lakeshore. I guess you wouldn't have seen my MX-3 in a long time either because it has been off the road since early May. My car was parted out/stripped, tranny died and decided not to repair and to just move on to something new.

What year Camery do you have?
