Color Question

Hi.

In the German Forum we got a user with the question what kind of color or what colornumber this color is.

I remember the User is from this Forum.

Could somebody tell me what is the color number?

rasberry metallic is the color name, look on the front page of MX-3.com for the color number (color code).

Sorry Pat- that is NOT raspberry metallic.

If it is a stock MX-3 color- then my guess is Passion Red Mica based on the color chart on the main page.

I dont even think thats a stock Mazda Color though.

thats a burgundy red color, i think fernado just had teh corksport mx3 painted to a similar color, you might wanna try to get in contact with him.

of cource on 2nd look the car is in the dark and it does have a semi rasberry look to it, so i think it might actually be the rasberry metallic color that pat mentioned (same color as my car). Its really hard to tell with the lighting. Can you provide a better image?
I'm willing to bet its the rasberry metallic sitting in the shade, when it gets dark around the house mine looks similar to that color

Then you are willing to be wrong then... thats the guy that had the "bulldozer" front end, with the Protege headlights and kept saying he had 19s.

Its not red as you say it is...
It has some pink in it

Um perry your comparing a dark image to a lighten image. I can make the SE look that color by simply playing with the lighting!. you have to take in everything thats around that car to determined the color.

1 car isnt in that great of a well lit place.
2 the colors around the cars are Grays and other neutral colors that dont reflect light that well. If you were to take a pic of a white piece of paper sitting on green carpet, the lighting would make that image would have a green tint to it.
3 look at the hue of the car it gives a similar purple reflect the SE does
4 Eye drop where the front is where the light hits it (not where its white from teh light, but right around that area) its an extremely similar color as the Mettalic Rasberry.

Yes he could of had the car repainted to be the same color, and yes there could of been a slight differenace in the color as we cant say he used mazda's paint. if thats the case then yes the color is different But i'd say its Rasberry Mettallic from the Pic i see.

That is the reflection of the sky on the red- causing your eye to see a purpleish color.

red + blue = purple/ magenta/ raspberry metallic.

Someone posted pics of that car a while back- and it is most definately MAROON.
