My Greddy E-Manage has arrived, it consists of the following:
- Greddy E-Manage main unit and harness
- Software CDROM and USB data cable

Also have some 295cc and 310cc injectors to try once I get the unit installed and tuned. Will keep you folks posted.
I wish I would have kept mine, but oh well. Have fun with it. Have you looked into the map sensor? I think you can just use that and rid yourself of the Vaf.

HAve fun with that emanage, i looked into it but went with the safc instead.

On a second note anyone know how to safely remove a stripped screw from the gas tank sending unit?
They were pretty bad before i even got into them, i got 3 of them off but 2 of them are on there. I was thinking a hand file and just file them down till theres nothing left of the heads.

i've gotten a number of stripped screws out by clamping a vice grip on the outside of the head. in this case you will need a small one...they have some that are pretty much like a needle nose plier but they are vice grips, try one of those.

I'm making a 4.5 hour trip tommorow for more dyno tuning so i'll have new numbers for you guys. I think the only other mods I have done from my last list are magnacore wires...my MSD fried my stockers. I guess I filled one of my motor mounts too.

Ya, update on my setup, Using 460cc injectors and at 12psi dyno'd at 212 whp and 213 ft/lb. Had some ignition problems, so I am gonna try regapping the plugs to .025 and see if that helps. Other than that I should be pushing 250 when I get back to dyno tune and turn the boost to 15psi :)

I had the same problem I think. I used a chisle to kinda file a line into the head of the screw (making it like a flat head screw). Then I used the chisle as a screw driver to turn them. It was a bioch.

andy's 93 GS 1.8T

Post by andy »

Most of the mods were on the car before the turbo install. The motor is the original 1.8 v6 with 165,000 miles. currently boosting around 5 psi.

t3/t4 T04E 57 trim
greddy type bov
tial like 38mm external wastegate
Manual boost controller
tw motorsports hot pipes
2.5" exhaust pipes.
24" resonator in place of cat
dynomax turbo muffler 2.5" in/out
curved neck millenia intake
port matched phenolics
egr bungs are pluged
8:1 FMU
220 cc Millenia injectors
stock fuel pump (for now)
generic boost gauge
bored out 1.8 TB to 60mm
TB coolant bypass( south fl, heat helps)
underdrive pulley
civic ball bearing short shifter

I will be adding to the above list to safely boost to 10 psi. Most likely with megasquirt. I am currently non-intercooled but I'm debating between an intercooler or water injection. Maybe both I'm still researching it.
