What car would win in a race? (GSR Interga vs. MX3 GS)
1995 GSR Integra (170hp & 115ft torque)
vs.
1993 GS MX3 (135hp & 115ft torque)
Is it still a drivers race?
Would the MX3 have a chance?
I know the Integra has more power then the MX3 and about the same weight but I am just curious because I have heard of stock GS Mx3s being able to keep up with those Honda Civic SIs.
What do you guys think?

i doubt that even if the integra were an auto and the mx-3 were manual, and the mx-3 would only be 130hp, and thats if its new
on a track thats a dif story, mx-3 has wicked suspension as far as i can tell anyways hahah
integra 7.6 16.0
mx-3 0-60- 9.2s quarter mile 16.8s

Damn, why did Mazda have to make the V6 models so damn slow?

1992 Mazda MX-3 GS 9.2 16.8
I am defiantly going to do a engine swap next year
The K8 is a cronk of s---
I want to go for a KLDE engine mostly because in the future, I would like to go for a turbo. KLZE's make nice power and can defiantly put me in the low 14s compared to putting me in the low 15s as in a KLDE? What times do KLDE's get the MX3 again in?

wow i'm suprised that the 0-60 for a mx is that slow. you would have thought that with the same amount of torque as what the integra has that it would be closer.

ive always been confused with the listed 1/4mile times for the GS, i once raced a 99 SI and we were neck n neck til he started to barley pull n 3rd. and im neck n neck with a stock GS teggie as well, but the 'listed' times on those r quicker then the GS by quit some bit, unless im mistaken.

Sorry, forgot to mention that when it comes to forced induction a KLDE>KLZEbmwm3guy wrote:care to explain? I'd like to hear your theory.Juans_93_MX3 wrote:KLDE>KLZE...

Why are we even discussing boosting? That's not a fair comparison, you can boost any car, you can boost a k8 even, you can boost an integra.

A klze is a better engine to boost, the higher compression just leaves less room for error when it comes to tuning it.Juans_93_MX3 wrote:Sorry, forgot to mention that when it comes to forced induction a KLDE>KLZEbmwm3guy wrote:care to explain?
