thanks mxmaz, and babyblue as always, thank for the info guys...soo......anyone know where i can get a obd1 ecu? and does anyone know the part number for the vaf that I need, mine says kl02...

KL02 is the vaf that you need for the swap. So you have the right one.

Yeah you do have the right vaf, and i am after reading on here dozens of times that the obd2 626 used an maf. But you cant believe everything you read anyways...
