there is a screw...turn it both ways...AFTER the car has warmed up.
you'll figure it out from there. i set mine to 800 rpm after 15 mins of car warm up time.
also, **sometimes** u gotta hit the gas pedal a couple of times, it activates the alternator, just to be sure it kicks in. some guy in a honda forum told me that. i figure, it cant hurt to do what he says.
pictures of this problem and how to do it, are in the forum...finding it will be fun

What he means is you gotta put your car into diagnostic mode before you change the idle. There's a small box labeled "DIAGNOSTIC" near your brake's master cyl. Pop the top off and run a small wire from position "10" to "G" or ground. Then turn the idle screw to get the car to idle where you want it, around 750 + or - 50.
If you don't jump the diag box, your ecu will use the isc valve to re-adjust the idle to what it's currently set at. You won't be able to adjust it without that jumper wire connected.

It might be slow, but it's not a civic!

I've tried it both ways and found nothing different.
1. Tried warming the car up for 15min. Shutting it down, putting in the jumper, then adjusting. Works fine, no problems.
2. Also tried jumpering it then warming the car up, then adjusting it after 15min. Works fine too.
I prefer to do the first one, though.
