B5 in my 3?

I was cleaning out my engine bay when I noticed the B5Z code nestled a little under the heat shield of the exhaust on the head. That would mean that it's a 1.5L then right? It is a DOHC, those motors were only supposed to come in the Protege's I thought! :shock:

Obviously can't see the code, but does that look just like a B6D?

Yup.. definately a B6DE.. same engine as my car.. heck.. your paint color is even the same as my car.. except you apparently have either yellow pin stripes or some funky lighting.. Though you could have gotten a B5 if you lived in Austrailia or New Zealand ;)
