right where the holes in the disc his..it's a phillip head screw. probably covered in rust/dust..it's not hard to see..on the surface of the rotor where the rim sits. carefull not to strip it

Sometimes a helpful mechanic forgets to put the screws back in after a brake job. If there is no screw in yours, or if your screw is out, spray WD-40 or penetrating oil all around where the rotor meets the hub. Let it sit a little while then whack the crap out of your rotor with a hammer or mallet...not on the gripping surface, but between your wheel studs.

I don't have a picture, but half way betweem two of the wheel studs is a tapped hole for a screw. There are two of them opposite each other. If you don't see the phillips head of a coin sized screw then you probably don't have any screws in yours. Then procede to plan B. WD-40 and BFH (Big F-ing Hammer).

I don't think that he is having a problem getting the screws out... I don't think that his rotor have the screws in them. I think he is just having trouble getting the rotors off period.

And if you're also replacing the rotors, you don't have to restrict your hammering to between the wheel studs. Even if you're not planning on it, you might as well do it every time you're replacing the pads. Rotors are relatively cheap, easy to replace and rear pads don't get worn nearly as much as the front pads do, so you won't have to do it very often.

Another good way i found to take off drum and rotors is when you take out those set screws find to bolts and run them in together in those holes that will force the rotor away from the hub. Drums come with those holes for that purpose.
