Shaved Antenna??

Post by cb mx3 »

I got in an accident with my car so I'm now in the midst of painting it and read posts about shaving the antenna. I don't use my radio at all but wanna know what it looks like without the antenna. Please post pics or links without the antenna.

Thanks KR

That thread, 4 pics down. Still primed though, hasnt been painted yet.

I also had the grooves on the roof filled in.

There's a lengthy post on this subject last winter that also included re-locating the antenna to the rear window washer spot and routing the antenna to there. A Euro type stubby antenna was utilized in that location and suited the car quite nicely. Try the search for it - it's a good read.
