Here's some pics I took over the weekend. Sorry if the beam pattern against the wall's not the greatest pics. I'll have to take some better wide shots of it later on when I get some more time. But this will give you guys an idea how the Acura TSX projects look.
There's more pics at the following links.

Very nice pics Kevin. Nice straight smooth pattern on the wall. No bleeding or scattering anywhere. When you find the time some "down the country road" pics would be nice with a couple low and high beam shots. Kinda like you see on the Hella demo site. Nice piece of work "T", very impressive. I can't wait for mine!!!

Taras will probably confirm that it would be man-hour intense unless you've got a body shop that works for less than $15/hr it may not be cost effective. Tatsu's will give you the opportunity to go free form, halogen projector or Xenon projector (HID).mazda78 wrote: if no one if giong to make these then i'd like to look into talking a body shop into helping me out on these

Sorry, didn't take any pics of the housings. Taras, correct me if I'm wrong but I think they were off and '04 TSX. I agree with jschrauwen that you would be better off with the ones that Tatsu's making.mazda78 wrote:if you could post a pic of the houseings front and back that would be great.. also what year and model tsx are these... if no one if giong to make these then i'd like to look into talking a body shop into helping me out onthese

Site says custom projector lights. It would be good to get more details about the specifics of those unit's. At that price, it may be concievable that the "projectors" are of a low grade or quality. We usually get what we pay for. Granted off-shore manufacturing allways appears to be much cheaper. Perhaps knowledge of this manufacturer earlier on "may" have made a difference and they could mass produce lighting units based on a CAD design from us. That CAD design is a major hurdle. Those lights on the blue car look fairly simple wrt it's general square shape and design. Unfortunately, ours are little more complex. Perhaps if you could get specific details, contact points of all parties concerned and once compiled provide that to Tatsu for further gleening. Who knows what may turn out. It's great that your keeping your ear to the ground and sourcing various alternatives. It's always good to have alternatives. Good find "78".mazda78 wrote:well i'malso looking into a company in the philippines that made them for one of the protege guys... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/450395/8 ... his is the blue protege they are nice looking and he thinks they can do an order of ten mx-3 lights in that style for $400 including lights and wiring
