Are protege injectors equivalent to BPT ones?

Post by Cpl_Bryant »

I just got my BPT to start this morning! Now, my #1 cylinder injector is leaking bad, shooting fuel all over. Are protege injectors equivalent to BPT ones? I have been taking a lot from a protege LX at my local junkyard so they know me and help me out a lot now. So if they are compatible I will just get one or all 4 from there.

THey will fit, but will not flow enough fuel for you.

Well, it seems that my problem is a little bigger than that now. I just switched the #1 and #2 injectors and still the #1 cylinder sprayed fuel everywhere. Now I am stumped.

Change the o-rings out for new ones.
