LMAO.
Yea I'm thinking maybe dropping 15-20 Lbs off the MX by dieting it right off my own arse. Cheap mod too. Maybe would qualify as one of those otherwise indefinable hp mods I'd feel right in the seat of my pants...

cf hatch? why? the glass is the bulk of the weight and why remove weight from the rear when the front is the main issue?

IMO cf fenders or something would be more worthwhile. THe stock fenders weigh like 8-10 lbs each. My buddies civic's fiberglass Z3 fenders were friggin light as hell...probably 3-4 lbs

Gro, I ca weigh my front bumper with Signals, lip and the grill for you... I am removing it this weekend :D

I also have a hatch on the side of my house, Ill weigh that as well.

I think a CF hatch would prove very beneficial :D

Oh yeah and my new gf weighs about 20lbs lighter than my ex!
ya dood get weight of bumper!

i'll remove my MS one and weigh that s---, even though it has 2 different colors of paint jobs on it which might throw off the weight a bit.

Gone crazy over the last 2 years since I updated my diet page. Now just shy of 440lbs. Rear hatch is not yet in the plan as this would push me in the Modified category.

I only removed around 100 lbs or a bit more from the mx3..and i did feel a minimum difference.. the rear jumps more but as far as accel a tiny bit of difference. I want to get rid of my hatch..any ideas? should i remove the glass and do some sort of fiberglass wanna be del sol thing? any other ideas?

I have a pic I'm going to scan of me after my braking zone, excelin' through a turn and you get to count how many wheels I'm on with stock springs and all=)

I agree with Gro, CF Dash would be a big option, forget the hatch...lexan that please! and call it a day.

FYI the 92-93 dash pwnz3rz j00 all b/c its lighter in weigh than the 94+ one that everyone always wants to sweat.

AIrbags = heavy as s--- + they apparently added reinforcement bars and other crap under the dash. I've love to weigh them against each other, and weigh the steering wheels against each other too.

Personally i think the 92-93 dash looks better than the 94+. The 94+ looks too bulgy and blocks your view over the hood more w/the taller vent ports

Hell yes. With all those bubble-like vents, you think you're piloting a submarine.

Pre-94 for Sho!!~
