Mercedes headlight conversion

Post by mx3gsr »

Been gone for a long time, but I saw this on another board and thought you fellow MX'ers would appreciate it. Looks great IMHO.

I don't know the owner, but the car is from Quebec.

I dunno, I applaud the hard work that must've been put in to do it...but I just don't think it looks that great. Doesn't fit the car to me.

I think it's really wicked..and ya it would have taken a lot of time to get them to fit.

They didnt have to cut the fender at all if you look carefully. They only modified the hood & the bumper.

not a fan of the look- but the work is nice.

Looks pretty nifty. Dramaticly changes the car's overall look in my opinion, which is why it looks so weird. I first looked at the picture and thought "Looks horrible." But I kept looking and I think in a way it looks pretty cool. In my opinion, I think the bumper style doesn't compliment the lights.

I also initially said that it look horrible. However, as I continue to look at it, the more I think it fits. Has anyone held these two headlights side by side? The actual size and most of the shape is pretty similar to our own it looks like. Not taking away from the work. . . that took some skill and time.

I think it looks like a Photocop too. Do't like the look either. The lamps are too big for the car.
