7th Annual West Coast MX-3 Meet

Post by Bling Bling »

Hate to say it but I won't be going. My 5 year old son went to Penticton 10 days ago and he's homesick. So I'll be getting him this weekend instead of next. Hope everyone has a great time. Just take lots of video and pics of your rides and send them to me. :(

Noooooooooooo!!!!! :crying:

Now I just have to wait for Mark and Marc to tell me they can't make it. I have a feeling that this is going to be a lonely trip for me

Darcy I will seek out some magical cleric to quickly speed heal your ankle.

 Yeah that's true...

People have to learn to take time off and not let their work always run their lives. Of course I'm one to talk. I'm always busy doing some damn thing or another. Work, Building my house, fixing car, running club, etc, etc. I think I need to be cloned. I rarely take my full vacation time each year because my work is lost without me. I bet they'll be calling my cell while I'm in BC. Is that ankle feeling better yet, Darcy? :D

I was trying to get some other MX-3's to join and come up but the only cool MX-3er doesn't do club stuff and the other guys are gay. And by gay I mean like "like" other men...

ok, I've been wheeling and dealing at my work, apart from getting married and honeymoon, they switched me to graveyards this month, so finding replacements is a PITA. and normally I work friday/saturday nights.

HOWEVER, I have been arranging some shift swaps so I hope to make it. As soon as I can confirm the shift swaps I'll be booking a room, whether it be at the inn or the university or wherever.

It will be me and my wife coming.

Sadly all the mods to my car won't be done, not by a long shot, but it'll still be all good.

will be there for part of the show, probably 10 to noon. I hope that we have a hold on the parking lot we will be using being summer, all the parking lots around the park are FULL by 9 in the morning. just some insight. Anyways, other obligations back here saturday night will cut the show short for me. Especially making it a day trip. But will make an appearance to debut the car.

I don't think the show in Van has anything to do with people not coming out.

Lots of people are afraid of roadtrips. They'd rather spend hours in rush hour traffic than cruising through the mountains.

Heh. was just talking with one of the guys from my work and there is an accident on the Glenmore and Crowchild bridge. He's already been there for an hour without moving. Sounds like fun!!

Maybe we need a bit more emphasis to people that they don't need to have show car-class vehicles to join the club or come out to the meets. I think it's much better to have people that just love their cars than people who were given a car and $50k and told to make it look nice.
