antenna wire??

what colour is the antenna wire when connecting it into the cd deck???
we connected it up directly aint gettin nothing but static

i found a black one that has 2 wires within it one seems to be power and another ground??

i searched sorry guys!!

the antenna is pretty much the same on all cars.

it uses a banana looking connector and is black, thicker than all the other wires.

it plugs into the circular port on teh back of your stock/aftermarket head unit

it's a long shot but on your wire harness (if you used one ) try conecting the power annenta wire (blue) to the harness from the deck it might work but you should just have to connect the huge black wire with the big crome end on it to the back of the deck

The Antenna wire should be Black with a silver connector at the end of it. It will look similar to an elongated RCA jack. If you pulled the Jack apart from the wire, you would see the inside of the antenna wire. This would have 2 wires. One in the center with a protective case around it, and one smaller wire alone/or unprotected wire surrounding the first. If this is what you have, then yes that is the Antenna wire. You will need to get another connector from the parts store, or just get a new antenna and install it, wire and all. Use a multimeter to confirm that the wire you are reffering to has no power before you do anything though.
