Engine help...

Post by luke_mx3 »

ok... so I have a 95 mx3 4 banger and it isn't doesn't perform high enough for me so I found a 94 mx3 v6 1.8 liter but the engine is shot so...
if I got that I would like to put in a larger engine. What would you recommend. The guy says he can get me a 2.3 liter for around $1000. If I got this car and put in a new engine what else would I want to replace with the engine?

The search function will come in handy for you. Search is your friend. People have really made time-consuming, detailed posts in the past, why should they have to type it all out again for someone that wont take 2 minutes to search :?:

A 2.3L is the supercharged Millennia S KJ-ZE motor. As far as I know no one has ever successfully installed one into an MX3. You want the KLZE 2.5L or KLDE 2.5L or KFZE 2.0L. They all can be easily swapped into your car.

Very true my friend. Even those of us who have been here for a while still use the search funtion to pull up an old post of relevance. Try going through all the relevant current posts first (there are some that apply to you. Search funtion works for subject title, forum and specific person or combinations thereof. One of my searches would include asking Millaj01 where he sourced his KLZE - sweatest, cleanest ZE engine I've ever seen yet.
