I NEED YOUR OPIONION (Door Panel Design) (image fixed)

Post by OptiX »

now remember, i drive a mazda 323 (with half of it being an MX-3 Interrior)

I've been coming up with designs for my door panels (going to redo them completely with fiberglass and what not)

these are the 2 best designs i've come up with that would flow with the car somewhat.

#1 would actually work with the car the most, but whats your opinion?

fiberglass, staplegun, mesh (for the fiberglass), 3/8"mdf (to act as a stiffer baseboard), leatherette, a gluegun, foam padding, and other stuff.

the peak of each outcropping (arm rest, and lower speaker mount area) will be about 2 to 2.5"

im going to begin work on it monday.

oh, notice the lil white area under the main part (speaker outcropping)

there will be a 9" blue neon tucked away under that.

it'll be a seamless shelf

Design one, flows better with the contours of the 323.
