"Hold" light staying on, on an Auto Trans 30X

Hi Guys,

Just a question about the "Hold" light on Auto trans Eunos 30x. I've driven this car for four years without any probs (except for the infamous distributor problem).
A few months ago I noticed the "Hold" light turning on even though I didnt press the hold button so it would hold my car in gear and change gears at higher revs.
Even if I pressed the hold button a few times, the light still stays on. The only way to get it off is to pull over and switch off the engine and start the car again and its back to normal.
It's been happening intermittently about once a month so its no big deal I guess, but does anyone know if this is something I should be worried about?

auto trannys are something to worry about,ive had this happen to my daughters cars twice,,,,,,both cars had to have tranny rebuilt after this happened with hold light,within a month of light flashing they had blown.

You need to take your car to have the tranny serviced IMMEDIATELY.

You need the filter replaced, as well as the fluid changed.
